Beginner Program Requirements

2020 Northeast Region Beginner Program

With the exception of the Tiny Tot Division, this program is a two year program. It has been revised to accommodate the ever changing registered skaters of the Northeast Region. We as a region agreed last season to eliminate the “Sub” division and to use the already existing “C” divisions in the regular program set forth by USA Roller Sports. We have also added a new division to this program “Tiny Tots”.

All age divisions are determined as of January 1st of the skating season and the official count of a skaters participation will begin with their first year as a “Newcomer”. Coaches please note: This program is for brand new skaters only. It is designed to help build and develop the skaters entering the sport of artistic skating.

There will be only two divisions and will be broken down by the age groups listed below. If you have a skater skating at the “Newcomer” level, they will be allowed to challenge up one level, (Intro) when indicated by each separate competition.
