YOUR SPORT NEEDS YOUR GIFT TO THE NATIONAL ROLLER SKATING MUSEUM

MAY 28, 2015

Eight Major Lincoln Foundations and 18 subsidiary local businesses and foundations have set up a Lincoln Community Foundation in support of 302 Lincoln Nonprofits that they have identified  as improving the daily lives of its citizens – to include parks, trails, schools, pets, arts, culture and recreation, to include those that provide assistance for children and families in crisis.

The goal of the Lincoln Community Foundation is to encourage philanthropy.  The annually held Lincoln Day helps nonprofit organizations tell their stories and encourages donors to make an extra gift to support causes that are important to them. To concentrate donations to a single day, the Lincoln Community Foundation seeks to harness the power of collective giving with a minimal investment of time or fund raising cost from the nonprofits.

$300,000 AWAIT MATCHING FUNDS –  Every donation made on May 28th will help your National Museum of Roller Skating even more because these will also receive a proportional share of a $300,000 challenge match fund provided by the Lincoln Community Foundation and its partner sponsors.  ALLSTATE INSURANCE is adding more funding by 24 – $300 bonus grants which will chosen at random each hour of the event, added to the donation that donor has made to their nonprofit organization. The Lincoln community anticipates similar skater support.

THE NATIONAL MUSEUM OF ROLLER SKATING NEEDS YOUR HELP!  JOIN UP!

Any donation you give above the $35 level will make or renew your membership for the next year at the appropriate level of : $35-Member, $50- Donor, $100- Associate Patron, $250-Patron, and $500+ Benefactor.
